Make a difference. Every day.

The Assistive Technology Unit is an operational area (VO) within the administration of Psychiatry, habilitation, and assistive devices responsible for all assistive technology areas funded by Region Skåne. This includes assistive devices for individuals with mobility, vision, hearing, communication, and cognitive impairments, medical treatment aids, orthopedic technical aids, and pharmaceutical-related products.

The Logistics Unit belongs to the order/logistics area, which is responsible for the order and logistics flow, from agreements, prescriptions, and orders to final delivery. The area also includes the units of customer service, administration, and assortment.

The main task of the unit is to stock, recondition, and be responsible for the distribution of the assistive devices that the assistive technology unit directly manages. In addition to this work, the unit has an overarching delivery responsibility for the distribution and storage that is outsourced to third parties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you have a strong interest in technology and working closely with healthcare? Then this could be a role for you! We are now looking for a driven assistive technology technician responsible for the hearing product area.

The job responsibilities mainly consist of stock management, picking customer orders, and goods reception, as well as servicing and reconditioning hearing technology equipment. You will also work with quality assurance of returned assistive devices, have contact with suppliers and customers, and document completed work.

The product area is being established so that the Assistive Technology Operational Area can ensure that returned hearing aids meet the same standard as new ones. Therefore, you will also be responsible for initiating the reconditioning process, developing routines, and finding the right quality level for customers.

The work is currently taking place at the Logistics Unit in Staffanstorp and may also involve some contact with suppliers as well as daily contact with healthcare in Skåne. We look forward to moving into newly renovated premises in Malmö at the turn of the year 2025/2026!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed high school education with experience in technical service work within the hearing product area and experience in documentation in IT systems. If you have an audiology degree, it is an advantage. Furthermore, you must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We expect you to have experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage and present information professionally. You should also share Region Skåne's values; welcoming, driving, caring & respect, and these values should be present in your daily work.

You are solution-oriented and see improvement potential instead of problems. The work requires extensive documentation, which places high demands on your ability to work in a structured and efficient manner. Furthermore, you are responsible and meticulous and have good collaboration skills. We also value patience as a highly regarded trait since the role involves working with equipment that requires it. The work demands a high sense of service and the ability to adapt to the needs of the organization. It is important to prioritize tasks and to easily collaborate with others. For us, it is a given that you have a good attitude towards customers, suppliers, colleagues, and other parties we collaborate with. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability.

Warm welcome to your application!
